Send us your school photos and shine a light on child labor

The CNN Freedom Project wants to amplify the voices of the victims of modern-day slavery, highlight success stories and help unravel the tangle of criminal enterprises trading in human life.

(CNN)Around the world, an estimated 120 million children are involved in child labor. Many of them don't get to go to school at all, while others have to juggle their education with full-time work.

But a good education can play a vital role in combating child labor. By giving children the skills they need to find work as adults, they will be able to keep their own children in school -- helping to break the cycle of poverty.
This year's World Against Child Labour Day, June 12, is focusing on education. You can help us highlight the issue by sending us your childhood pictures.
Simply tweet or Instagram an old picture of yourself at school, and complete the sentence "Education helped me ..." - using the hashtag #EducationHelpedMe .
