The State Box at Ford's Theatre is pictured in present day. The portrait of George Washington is the same one that hung on the box on the night of the assassination in 1865. There is a nick on the frame where John Wilkes Booth's spur struck it as he jumped from the box to the stage after he shot Lincoln.
