(CNN)We probably can stop with the Mentos and Coke thing now.
Youtuber Hajime taped Mentos to his body and jumped into a bathtub filled with Coke Zero. Now the fizzy video has gone viral.
But as fun as that one is (nice touch actually drinking some of the Coke Zero, Hajime) let us not forget the even more impressive leap for Mentos and mankind when "Epic Meal Empire's" Josh "EpicMook" Elkin donned a Mentos suit for a dip in a Coke-filled tank.
Well done, sir. We'd drink to that.
University of Illinois at Chicago professor Lee Marek is credited with kicking off the Mentos/Coke madness in 1999 after an appearance on David Letterman's late night show. The carbon dioxide bubbles in the Coke go wild when they encounter the dimples in the candy, causing a geyser effect.
Since then the "Mentos and Coke experiment" has been an Internet favorite.
