It's back! The Champions League returns – The last 16 of the Champions League started on Tuesday with Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea facing off in the French capital. The two sides drew 1-1 in a hard-fought first leg.
Old friends – David Luiz spent three years with Chelsea, and was part of the squad that won the Champions League in 2012, but turned down a new contract to join PSG for a fee of around $76 million.
Beckham's back – David Beckham, who enjoyed a spell with PSG towards the end of his career, watched the action from the stands alongside Alex Ferguson, his former manager at Manchester United.
Yellow peril – Chelsea had failed to mount a meaningful attack in the opening 30 minutes but it found a way through when Branislav Ivanovic headed home from close range.
All square – PSG made a fast start to the second half and Edinson Cavani headed home Blaise Matuidi's cross to make it 1-1 within 10 minutes of the restart.
Dare to Zlatan? – PSG's enigmatic striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic had a huge chance at the end of the second half but the Swede's header was brilliantly saved by Thibaut Courtois, the Chelsea goalkeeper.
Alonso gets marching orders – Xabi Alonso was sent off on his 100th European Champions League appearance on a disappointing night for Bayern Munich. The German side was held to a 0-0 draw by Shakhtar Donetsk in the first leg of its last 16 tie.
