New photographs released by North Korea's Central News Agency (KCNA) on February 15 appear to show its leader inside a private luxury jet.

According to the KCNA report, the leader took the flight in order to view a "magnificent and spectacular" building project in Pyongyang from above.

KCNA released photographs showing Kim's plane flying low above Pyongyang, giving the leader a "bird's-eye view" of the construction site.

The new building complex will feature apartments along with medical facilities, restaurants, shops, salons and bathhouses, according to KCNA.

This isn't the first time photographs have emerged showing Kim and his aircraft. Late last year, an in-cockpit video surfaced showing him apparently flying his own plane.

Following his aerial tour, Kim visited the construction site on the ground. The project will "face-lift Pyongyang... as a world-class city to be envied by the world," said the country's state media news agency.
