A selfie <a href="http://instagram.com/p/xt0F8yD5YJ/?modal=true" target="_blank" target="_blank">posted to the Instagram account</a> of Miss Israel, Doron Matalon, made headlines this past week because she was next to Miss Lebanon, Saly Greige, at a Miss Universe charity event in Miami. Officially, Israel and Lebanon are still at war, even though there have been no large-scale hostilities on the border since 2006. The image ignited a wide-ranging debate in the comments of the picture, and Greige later distanced herself from it, saying she was posing with Miss Japan and Miss Slovenia when "suddenly Miss Israel jumped in, took a selfie, and put it on her social media." Regarding <a href="http://www.cnn.com/2015/01/18/world/feat-miss-lebanon-miss-israel-picture/" target="_blank">the controversy,</a> Matalon said, "It doesn't surprise me, but it still makes me sad."
