Welcome to the new mobile and desktop sites for CNN.
CNN’s independent, global journalism is expanding. We share the essential stories of the world we live in, from Ferguson to Syria to Nigeria, from mysteries to marvels. We cover creative acts and intriguing people. We tell you what we know when we know it. We explain, we investigate, and we uncover big stories.
We are bringing those stories to more people around the world on more screens, feeds and devices than ever before.
More than 15 million people around the world experience CNN on their phones, laptops, tablets and desktops and in their social feeds every day.
This new design spans our domestic and international sites and reflects our expanding reach on the critical stories of our times. It’s fitting that our internal code word for the launch of this new site was “expansion.”
So what’s new?
Our talented team of designers, led by creative director Dewey Reid, has created a cleaner and bolder experience. Our headlines are bigger and easier to read, our pages are richer with video and photography, and there’s simply more breathing room.
It’s CNN’s core, and it’s growing. CNN averages more than 210 million video starts a month, up 40% year over year. Our video player is now bigger and available in more places through the site. We’ve made it easier to find and stumble across Bourdain, new original digital series and exclusive interviews. And it’s easier than ever to watch CNN TV live on any platform, thanks to CNNgo, lauded as one of the most innovative products in media.
CNN is the most followed and fanned news organization on the planet. You’ll find more prominent and easier-to-use social sharing tools on the new site and more stories that cover social conversations.
It’s the future present. Our mobile site and apps now account for half of our traffic. To that end, our new mobile site is better organized and has more of the top news, videos and compelling stories CNN is known for.

Thank you for being a part of CNN’s global audience, and as always, we welcome your feedback.
