The women of Lichk – Anoush and Ruzanna, two sisters-in-law, prepare bread in the Armenian village of Lichk. Their husbands and brothers, like almost all of the village's working-age men, work in Russia for most of the year.
The women of Lichk – A woman herds cattle in Lichk. With most of the village's men gone, the women have to do everything themselves, from working the land to herding the livestock and raising children.
