The nose knows – In 2011, Grand Challenges Canada and the Gates Foundation allocated $950,000 for research into a hand-held breathalyzer device to test for TB.

The nose knows – NASA's "Enose" was used on the International Space Station to detect air contamination. The technology is now being developed by Vantage Health as a mobile healthcare product.
