'Destiny' – The next big thing from Bungie, the creators of the "Halo" series, "Destiny" presents an open-world scenario in which players defend a run-down Earth from invaders.
'Evolve' – The twist in multiplayer "Evolve" is that another player is controlling the boss monsters, which "evolve" into stronger foes as the game goes on.
'Assassin's Creed: Unity' – This time, your assassin (or team of assassins) is doing his deadly business in revolution-era France.
'Halo: Master Chief Collection' – In anticipation of next year's "Halo 5: Guardians," Microsoft is releasing all of Master Chief's previous adventures as one game. They're playable with updated graphics or as they originally appeared, bugs and all.
'LittleBigPlanet 3' – Fans have created a whopping 8.7 million levels in this series and, in "LittleBigPlanet 3," you can play them all.
'No Man's Sky' – This indie release is an exclusive for the PlayStation 4 and creates a world where dinosaurs and modern technology exist side-by-side.
'Splatoon' – "Splatoon" is a light-hearted game for Nintendo's Wii U, in which players are squid trying to claim their team's territory with ink.
'Super Smash Bros.' – Arcade icon Pac-Man joins the cast in "Super Smash Bros.," Nintendo's fighting game that already features classic characters such as Mario and Sonic.
'Batman: Arkham Knight' – The Batmobile makes an appearance in this round of the Dark Knight's saga, providing more options to take on the baddies.
