In December, we asked CNN readers to vote on the famous women and men they loved the most. After counting up the votes, here are the top 10 female stars and top 10 male celebs that are favorites of CNN's readers: Pascal Le Segretain/Getty Images/File
No. 10: It only takes one movie -- and a hilarious interview about said film -- for Mila Kunis to make a lasting impact. The actress appeared in "Oz the Great and Powerful" in March and then essentially went off the radar for 2013, but she's always at front of mind for CNN readers. Courtesy Gemfields
No. 9: Perhaps you wanted to show Anne Hathaway some love after she was subjected to a post-Oscars hate-fest earlier this year. Hathaway's kept a low profile since the 2013 awards season but considering she didn't make 2012's list at all, No. 9 isn't a bad place to be. Frazer Harrison/Getty Images for CDG/File
No. 8: CNN readers do love their Marvel movies, and we think that may have something to do with "Black Widow" Scarlett Johansson making her first appearance on our favorites list this year. But, then again, she also turned heads in acclaimed films "Don Jon" and "Her" -- and who doesn't love a star who freely owns up to her jealousy issues? Vittorio Zunino Celotto/Getty Image/File
No. 7: Jennifer Aniston dropped a few spots on our favorites list this year, down to No. 7 from No. 3 in 2012. Should we blame it on her insistence that a "Friends" reunion just isn't going to happen? Jag Gundu/Getty Images/File
No. 6: Color us a little surprised that Tina Fey doesn't appear higher on our favorites list, considering how beloved she is as not only an actress but a media personality. We'll take it though -- anything with Fey in it is automatically better. ROBYN BECK/AFP/Getty Images
No. 5: CNN readers adore Melissa McCarthy, and the box office proves it. The actress, who also stars on the sitcom "Mike & Molly," killed it at the movies this year with "Identity Thief" and summer blockbuster "The Heat." Astrid Stawiarz/Getty Images/File
No. 4: You still have love for Kate -- just not as much as you had in 2012. While the royal was No. 1 last year, in 2013 the new mom slipped to No. 4. Chris Jackson/Getty Images
No. 3: ABC star and all-around fan favorite Kerry Washington not only makes her first appearance on CNN's readers' favorites list, but she does it in the Top 3. "Scandal"-ous. Robin Marchant/Getty Images/File
No. 2: We can't call this a comeback because Sandra Bullock has always been the people's choice. But we can say that the "Gravity" star saw a major surge in popularity this year. While she barely landed on our 2012 favorites list, this year, she's the runner-up for the top spot. Pascal Le Segretain/Getty Images
No. 1: This has to be the most unsurprising win for Jennifer Lawrence, ever. Is it even possible to find someone who doesn't adore this actress? And, if we may, that adoration is well-earned: After sweeping up her first Oscar, Lawrence got right back to work with this year's "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" and "American Hustle," both of which have earned the 23-year-old rave reveiws. No. 10: The Academy may not drool over Leonardo DiCaprio, but CNN's readers do. After watching the actor take to the big screen in this year's "The Great Gatsby" and anticipating his turn in Martin Scorsese's "The Wolf of Wall Street," our readers made sure DiCaprio earned a spot on our list. No. 9: CNN readers' favorite musician of 2013 is also one of their favorite male stars overall. We can understand why, given how multitalented JT is. Over the past 12 months, he's made us laugh on "Saturday Night Live" and had us swooning with his marriage proposal assist. We bet you even love him enough to forget "Runner Runner" ever happened. No. 8: Joseph Gordon-Levitt fully accepted his sex symbol status with his directorial debut, "Don Jon." It's a testament to JGL's star appeal that he can write, direct and star in just one movie and still easily swing onto our readers' favorites list. Frederick M. Brown/Getty Images/File
No. 7: Bradley Cooper's come a long way from his sad, old "Alias" days. In 2013, the actor bounced back from the disappointing "Hangover III" to line up another awards season contender in "American Hustle" -- and even found time to start dating a model. JUSTIN TALLIS/AFP/Getty Images/File
No. 6: Idris Elba will always be "The Wire's" Stringer Bell to us, but it's definitely not because he isn't versatile. The prolific actor starred in three top films this year that were all over the map -- from the sci-fi world of "Pacific Rim" to the biography of Nelson Mandela in "Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom" -- and you clearly can't get enough of him. No. 5: Chris Hemsworth has won several hearts with the "Thor" franchise, which saw its second installment bow in November, but we think you also voted so highly for Hemsworth because of his work in another acclaimed film, "Rush." Samir Hussein/Getty Images for StudioCanal/File
No. 4: Surely you've picked up on a theme, here? CNN readers go gaga for guys who can not only play the powerful hero -- as Hugh Jackman did in this summer's "The Wolverine" -- but can also switch over to drama with ease. If you haven't seen "Prisoners," add it to your must-watch list stat. YOSHIKAZU TSUNO/AFP/Getty Images
No. 3: This is, perhaps surprisingly, Robert Downey Jr.'s first time appearing on our CNN readers' favorites list. The actor was nowhere to be found last year, but for 2013 so many readers voted for him that he can make a third-place entrance. Jason Merritt/Getty Images
No. 2: Before you cry foul on our results, just wait until you see who beat out Benedict Cumberbatch for the top spot. Surely this Brit actor -- who's shown his versatility in "Sherlock," "Star Trek Into Darkness," "Desolation of Smaug" and the reading of R. Kelly lyrics on "Kimmel" -- has earned his way to be CNN readers' favorite actor of 2013. If only he hadn't gone up against ... Samir Hussein/Getty Images for Soho House/File
No. 1: ... the Internet's favorite actor, Tom Hiddleston. If you are a Luddite, you might find this choice to be out of left field since. After all, Hiddleston's obvious claim to fame is playing the villain in the "Thor" and "Avengers" movies. But if you're caught off guard by Hiddleston's sweep, then you haven't been paying attention: he's everywhere. Jason Merritt/Getty Images/File
