Ted Turner turns 75 this week. The man who invented the 24-hour news cycle recently answered these 10 questions posed by CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer.

Q: How would you describe yourself?

A: Tired.

Q: How do you want other people to describe you?

A: Energetic

Q: What is your greatest achievement?


Q: What is your greatest failure?

A: The merger with AOL.

Q: What is your greatest regret?

A: Losing control of CNN and Turner Broadcasting.

Q: Did you set your goals too high?

A: I think I set ‘em about right.

Q: Your relationship with your five kids, how is it?

A: Great

Q: Will your five children take over your life’s work?

A: They already are.

Q: Describe your legacy.

A: Well, I hope I’ve set a good example for hard work.
