Funeral car bombings kill 53, wound dozens in eastern Baghdad

A pair of car bombings at a funeral procession in a predominantly Shiite district in eastern Baghdad killed 53 people Saturday, police and health officials said.
At least 110 others were wounded by the blasts, which happened a few seconds apart in Sadr City, officials said.
A third car bomb exploded on a busy road nearby, killing three more people and wounding 18.
