Girls Will Be brand T-shirts were designed to fit between the typical figure-hugging clothes for girls and baggy clothes for boys. The brand was launched in July by adult siblings who saw their kids weren't happy with many of the clothes on store shelves.

Girls Will Be creators hope to expand beyond T-shirts. "We are working hard to get the next round of production under way and push forward as fast as we can," said Sharon Burns Choksi, who handles promotion and marketing.

Siblings Laura Burns, left, Sharon Burns Choksi and David Burns collaborated to create Girls Will Be while living in different cities -- Austin, St. Louis and Chicago. They do business over conference calls; already, the job is more than full-time, Burns Choksi said.
