Dr. Jeff Cain lost both of his legs in a plane accident in 1996.
Since his double amputation, Cain has go on to continue an active lifestyle similar to the one he led before his accident.
Cain enjoys and competes in a variety of adaptive sports, including surfing.
As a double amputee, Cain continues to participate in athletic events and holds the first gold medal in adaptive slalom snowboarding.
