Lokomotiv Hockey heroes remembered
Tears of remembrance —
Fans lit candles and held a vigil for the Lokomotiv players who perished in the airplane crash on September 7 2011.

Local hero remembered —
A picture of Ivan Tkachenko was surrounded by candles and glasses in front of the Lokomotiv Stadium as fans flocked to the Arena-2000 to pay their respects.
Paying respects —
Fans from all over the Ice Hockey world paid their respects to the members of the Lokomotiv team with several players having played in the U.S. including former Minnesota and Vanvouver center Pavol Demitra.

Fans of all ages were left devastated with adults and children left in tears following the crash. Churches across Russia were filled with mourners.

Canada hockey great —
Yaroslavl coach Brad McCrimmon was 52 when he died in the accident. He won the 1989 Stanley Cup while playing for Calgary Flames and played his 1,000th game for the Detroit Red Wings.

McCrimmon tribute —
McCrimmon has received a special dedication from his teenage daughter, Carlin, in a tattoo with a phrase written in Russian, which in English means: "Our team. Forever."
