In an episode in the first season of "Revenge," protagonist Emily Thorne, left, and her friend Ashley Davenport attended a party in the Hamptons. "This was our 4th of July episode," said Jill Ohanneson, a costume designer for the series, "so everyone was dressed in red, white or blue. We modified Emily's red Jason Wu dress by removing the skirt ruffles as they were a bit much for her ... but the neckline was phenomenal on her. Ashley's dress was BCBG and we wanted hers to be navy as she was the event coordinator ... working the party." ABC

"We all loved this Lela Rose dress so much, and it was really perfect for the episode where Emily meets Grandpa Grayson," Ohanneson said. ABC
Costume designer Marie Sylvie Deveau chose the nautical look that Nolan Ross (Gabriel Mann) wore on the pilot episode. Ohanneson, who has been with the series since its second episode, said she wanted to "keep an eccentricity to (Nolan), but not make him a caricature." ABC
"Victoria's dress is by Roland Mouret, who always does interesting architectural necklines on his dresses," Ohanneson said. "I loved putting her in a black dress for her wedding anniversary dinner as she was out of sorts with her husband at the time." ABC

Charlotte, left, and Victoria Grayson wore these raspberry lace Dolce & Gabbana dresses to attend "a fancy mother/daughter tea," Ohanneson said. "I had already purchased Victoria's dress for her closet when I got the script, and I remembered that D&G had a shorter shift dress in the same fabric, which we added a ruffled cap sleeve to (for Charlotte)."
