aA alleged hazing death at Florida A&M University will keep the renowned marching band off the field through next year. The university suspended them as it works to make new rules to address hazing.

The student at the center of this is 26-year-old Robert Champion, who died in November. Prosecutors alleged he was badly beaten during an initiation event, and 13 of his bandmates face charges for his death.
Travis Roberts was a bandmate of Champion's who is not accused in any hazing activities. He explains on "Starting Point" why the band suspension is a 'good start' in trying to learn from the incident.
