Celebrating Mom – After struggling with infertility, iReporter Wendy Bowers is thrilled to be able to share her Mother's Day with her son Nathan, who is almost 4 years old. "I look at my son and am amazed -- not that I am so lucky to have such a wonderful little boy (although I certainly am) -- but at how honored and fortunate I am to belong to him," she said.
Celebrating Mom – Kathi Cordsen and her mother took a trip to Washington, D.C., for Mother's Day 2002, but forgot a camera. Instead, they picked up postcards, stickers and pins at locations they visited, and Cordsen still has the collage she made to remember all the sites they visited together.
Celebrating Mom – Marilyn Hegman-Davis' sons Aaron Davis, left, and Nicholas Pegues took her to brunch at Paulette's Restaurant in Memphis in 2010. Paulette's is a a family favorite, Pegues said, and his mom was pleased her sons remembered how much she loved it, and surprised her with a meal there.
Celebrating Mom – Drawings on lined paper were the first Mother's Day gifts Veronica Pantaleon Mendoza's daughter ever gave. "I hang them on the wall behind my computer monitor and position them at eye level so whenever I work, I see them," Mendoza said.
