An Israeli airstrike in Gaza Tuesday killed one Islamic Jihad militant and injured three others, sources said.
The strike hit a small vehicle in northern Gaza, a medical source and an Islamic Jihad source told CNN.
The operation targeted "a squad affiliated with recent terror activity," the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement.
The Israeli military did not provide details about deaths or injuries.
"The IDF will not tolerate any attempt to harm Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers, and will operate against anyone who uses terror against the state of Israel," the statement said.
