Mach 5 aircraft —
Study for a Mach five passenger aircraft, 1983. The huge engine sucks in air through the perforated outer edge of the aircraft body. The four-winged supersonic plane was meant to cover the distance between Tokyo and London in just three hours.

In 1978 Colani built a fast, small hovercraft, using a Wankel motor.

Hybrid car —
Life-sized model of a two-part hybrid car, 1970. The engine and cam shaft are taken from a Lamborghini Miura. The separate passenger cabin is designed like the cockpit of a glider.

Mega passenger aircraft —
Colani's mega-passenger aircraft from 1977 is based on the shape of the Megalodon shark. It has four flight decks and swing-wings at the rear. Each flight deck can seat up to 1,000 passengers.
