(CNN) -- Just two days before the Iowa caucuses, CNN takes an unfiltered look at each of the presidential candidates in the first New Year's Day Ballot Bowl.

Starting this week, the candidates are entering a five-week sprint that will likely decide the Democratic and Republican presidential nominees.

After the Iowa caucuses, New Hampshire will hold the nation's first primary just five days later on January 8. Michigan will hold its primaries on January 15.

Nevada will hold caucuses on January 19, the same day South Carolina Republicans hold their primary. South Carolina Democrats hold their primary a week later on January 26.

Florida primary voters will go to the polls on January 29. On Super Tuesday, or February 5, more than 20 states, including California, New York, New Jersey and Illinois, will hold caucuses or primaries.

Throughout New Year's Day, CNN and CNN.com will show unedited clips from candidates' stump speeches and debate answers. Video Watch the candidates unfiltered » E-mail to a friend E-mail to a friend
