DA NANG, Socialist Republic of Vietnam (Sept. 7, 2011) - A U.S. military detail from the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command honors the sacrifice made by Americans during a repatriation ceremony at the Da Nang International Airport. Approximately 35 JPAC team members excavated burial and aircraft crash sites for five Americans associated with Vietnam War losses. The approximately 35-day long undertaking marked the 104th Joint Field Activity in Vietnam. The mission of JPAC is to achieve the fullest possible accounting of all Americans missing as a result of the nation's past conflicts.
