WH: 'Chasing down every theory' on MH370

A Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) AP-3C Orion maritime patrol aircraft from No. 10 Squadron, No. 92 Wing conducted a search operation for missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 in the southern Indian Ocean on 19 March 2014. The Australian Maritime Safety Authority-led search is supported by four RAAF AP-3C Orion maritime patrol aircraft along with a Royal New Zealand Air Force P-3K2 Orion aircraft and a United States Navy P-8 Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft operating from RAAF Base Pearce and Perth. With these aircraft, search and rescue operations are able to be conducted continuously throughout daylight hours. The RAAF AP-3C Orion completed two of the four search flights flown today and another four sorties will be flown tomorrow. The RAAF AP-3C Orion maritime patrol aircraft is responsible for conducting long-range surveillance missions within the southern search corridor.
