	A former teacher at Miramonte Elementary School in the unincorporated Florence area of Los Angeles County was in custody today and facing possible charges of felony molestation of about two dozen children,authorities said.Mark Berndt, 61, was arrested at his home in Torrance on Monday and booked on suspicion of committing lewd acts upon a child, according to the Sheriff's Department. Berndt was held in lieu of $2.3 million bail.The allegations involve lewd acts committed upon children ranging in age from 7 to 10 between 2008 and 2010, according to the Sheriff's Department.Berndt worked as a teacher for more than 30 years at Miramonte.
