Charles Walker was erroneously released on October 8, 2013 from the Department of Corrections-Franklin Correctional Institution, Franklin County, FL. Walker was convicted of 2nd Degree Murder, life sentence. On 10/15/13, when they became aware of it, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement advised the Orange County Sheriff's Office of the escapees' release, due to the fact the subjects were past residents of Orange County and their convictions derived from crimes committed in Orange County and the City of Orlando.
