Allen County Sheriff's Department says 39 year old Michael L. Plumadore made his first appearance this morning in court for the murder of 9-year-old Aliahna Lemmon, December 27, 2011. The 9-year-old was found dead on yesterday after disappearing two days before Christmas. Cpl. Jeremy Tinkel said "Plumadore had his initial hearing this morning at 9:30a appearing before a judge and he's being held on no bond facing a single murder charge." He would not disclose Plumadore's relationship with Aliahna or details about what led to the man's arrest. However, the girl's grandmother, described Plumadore as a neighbor and close family friend. She said Aliahna and her two sisters were staying with Plumadore while Aliahna's mother was recovering from the flu.
