Paris Fashion Week: Craft trumps tech in the style capital

What does digital mean in the luxury universe? It's a question a number of key designers tried to answer at Paris Fashion Week, which ended on Wednesday. For some, this meant Instagram-friendly sets and stunts with ready-made hashtags (just search #ChanelAirlines), while others interpreted the digital abstractly in their clothes.
But along with tech meditations, designers also centered workmanship and artisan talent. According to Harper's Bazaar editor-in-chief Justine Picardie, the French brands are showing a renewed "emphasis on the handcrafted; things that are real, things that are made by human hands, that are touched by human hands and emotion."
