How much did Keith Richards' LSD-fueled ride sell for? Goodwood Revival Auction Highlights
Written by Zahra Jamshed, CNN
Keith Richards' "Blue Lena," a beautiful 1965 Bentley S3 Continental "Flying Spur," and 13 of Chris Evans' vintage motors were all included in this year's Goodwood Revival Auction on September 12.
Richards had written about the "Blue Lena" in his 2010 autobiography saying, "My dark blue Bentley, my S3 Continental Flying Spur -- an automobile of some rarity, one of a limited edition of 87.
Having this car was already heading for trouble, breaking the rules of the establishment, driving a car I was definitely not born in to. 'Blue Lena' had carried us on many an acid-fueled journey."
Evans, the new host of British television program Top Gear, auctioned off several highly prized Ferraris, including the rare right-hand drive 1966 Ferrari 275 GTB/6C Alloy, the 1971 Ferrari 365 GTS/4 "Daytona" Spider and the 1964 Ferrari 250 GT/L "Lusso."
Speed and style: A classic car show like no other
Several racing classics were also auctioned off, including an original Scarab-Offenhauser Formula 1 single-seater from 1960 and a 1970 Porsche 908/03 Sports Racing Prototype.
Highlights from the Goodwood Revial auction, including models from Jaguar, Ferrari, BMW and Porsche are featured in the gallery above.
