    Veronica Rocha is a breaking news editor for CNN Digital.

    Before joining CNN, Rocha worked at the Los Angeles Times, where she was part of a Pulitzer Prize winning team for breaking news in 2016. In her current and past positions, she has covered a variety of breaking news from deadly terror attacks in San Bernardino and Barcelona, to California wildfires, criminal justice, extreme weather and celebrities. She also traveled to Honduras and covered Sen. Tim Kaine's missionary work there.

    Rocha graduated from California State University Northridge, where she earned a bachelor's degree in journalism. She was born and raised in the Los Angeles area.
