Vanessa Yurkevich is a digital correspondent for CNN. Yurkevich is responsible for reporting for CNN's Premium Businesses including CNN Politics, Money, Travel, Tech and Style on digital and broadcast.

    Yurkevich reported on a one month road trip for the #MyVote Campaign Camper tour and traveled the country for the last month before the election talking to Americans about the issues that matter to them including reports from the US-Mexico border in Texas and Arizona. She spent election night anchoring CNN's digital coverage from the Empire State Building.

    Yurkevich has created original content and series including Away, which highlights innovative business travel in the US, Political Anthropology, a look at why people vote based on their environment, Agility in Action, a half hour TV special which highlights leading companies in the tech and innovation space, and Blood Sweat Profit, an in depth look into the booming fitness industry. She's also exclusively interviewed Richard Branson about his new Virgin Hotel chain, and interviewed billionaires Tommy Hilfiger and Related CEO Stephen Ross. And she sat down with Compton's Mayor Aja Brown about gang prevention initiatives, in one of the most dangerous cities in America.

    She also anchors for CNN Newsource live from the NASDAQ market site. Before coming to CNN, Yurkevich helped launch the digital team at Blouin Artinfo where she reported on art, luxury, and travel. Yurkevich is fluent in Spanish and worked at NY1 News and NY1 Noticias where she covered immigration, politics, and travel. She's also reported for BBC, The New York Times -- The Local, and Associated Press Television in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

    She received the Scripps Howard Immigration Fellowship from the International Center for Journalists and the Knight Foundation's US - Russia Young Media Professionals Fellowship where she spent a month in Russia reporting for Russia's TV3.

    Yurkevich received her bachelor's degree from Fordham University in communications and Spanish. She also holds a certificate for Polish language from Hunter College.
