    Samuel Burke is a business and technology correspondent for CNNMoney based in London. He reports on the latest news across social media networks, apps and gadgets, and how they impact businesses and consumers alike, and also hosts the weekly show, 'iReport for CNN.'

    In addition, Burke serves as a technology news anchor and producer for CNN en Español, appearing daily on programs like 'CafeCNN,' 'CLIX' and 'CNN Dinero.' He formerly anchored 'Europa Hoy,' the network's nightly primetime show that connected business and culture news across Europe and the Americas from CNN's London Bureau.

    Burke previously served as the digital producer for Christiane Amanpour and her weeknight interview program on CNNI, 'Amanpour.' In this role he created digital content and facilitated online conversations between Amanpour and her global audience. Alongside Amanpour, he travelled across the Middle East producing reports and live broadcasts from Egypt during the country's first-ever democratic elections, Israel and the Palestinian territories.

    Carving a unique role for himself across CNN's television and digital platforms, Burke was instrumental in developing the social media strategy for the launch of CNNMexico.com in 2010. He started his career at CNN as an intern for Anderson Cooper 360°.

    Prior to joining CNN, Burke was a freelance producer for Phoenix's NPR affiliate, KJZZ, and ABC News' 20/20 program.

    Burke studied Spanish linguistics at La Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Mexico and graduated summa cum laude from the Barrett Honors College and Arizona State University. He received his master's degree in journalism from The Walter Cronkite School of Journalism, and now serves on the Cronkite School National Board of Advisors.
