    • Reihan Salam is a CNN political commentator and executive editor of National Review, a policy fellow at the National Review Institute. He is also author of the Agenda blog for the National Review Online, contributing editor of National Affairs, and a columnist for Slate.

      Previously, Salam was an associate editor at The Atlantic, a producer for NBC News, a junior editor and editorial researcher at the New York Times, a research associate at the Council on Foreign Relations, and a reporter and researcher at The New Republic.

      With Ross Douthat, Salam is the co-author of Grand New Party: How Conservatives Can Win the Working Class and Save the American Dream (2008).

      Salam graduated from Harvard in 2001.
