Masuma Ahuja is a producer at CNN, where she works on developing strategy, building communities and reporting and telling stories on emerging messaging and social platforms.

    Before CNN, Ahuja was the national digital editor at the Washington Post. Her work at the Post includes launching the Post's presence on Snapchat, rethinking user comments to cover the impact of the government shutdown, and using Yik Yak to cover the 2016 campaign.

    Ahuja was part of the team that was awarded the 2014 Pulitzer Prize for Public Service for coverage of the NSA. She has a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Oxford.
