    James Williams reports for CNN and is based in New York.

    Williams joined CNN in 2010 on the "Quest Means Business" team and later became the producer of "CNN Business Traveller."

    He has worked both at the CNN International European headquarters in London and the CNN New York bureau.

    Williams first appeared on screen in 'CNN Business Traveller' in December 14 alongside CNN anchor Richard Quest, reporting on travel and business stories.

    He's covered NASA's Space Coast and the United States Air Force Academy's Top Gun-style training and reported from locations across the U.S. including New York, Colorado and Florida, as well as Cuba and Peru.

    In December 2015, Williams began hosting CNN International's new monthly travel series "In 24 Hours," taking his audience on a quest for new and exciting high-end experiences in vibrant cities.

    Prior to joining CNN, Williams worked for Sky News in the UK and at Intelligence Squared, an organization that stages debates around the world.

    Williams was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, and has lived in France, the UK, and the U.S.

    He graduated from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia, gaining an LLB in Law and a BA Arts, majoring in media studies.
