    Cassie Spodak is a CNN Politics video producer in CNN's Washington bureau following the 2016 Presidential race. She travels all over the country following the election and covered New Hampshire in the run-up to the traditional first-in-the-nation presidential primary. 

    Spodak started at CNN on the New York Assignment Desk before moving to the Washington, DC bureau to cover politics. She has produced for all of CNN's DC based shows and helped launch "The Lead with Jake Tapper" in 2013. Spodak also covered the White House, producing video pieces and filing stories for CNN Politics Digital.

    Spodak graduated from Barnard College in New York City where she studied Anthropology. She is a true local of DC, where she was born and raised.
