Gillespie knew he would begin losing his hair shortly after starting chemotherapy for bone cancer. So he did the honors himself at an after-prom party. But Gillespie, 18, had no idea so many of his friends would join him. Someone produced scissors, clippers and a basket and by the end, 14 boys had shaved their heads. On Tuesday, more than two dozen of Gillespie's classmates shaved their heads too.
