Thomas Hamill Civilian contractor Thomas Hamill, 43, who worked as a truck driver for Halliburton subsidiary Kellogg Brown & Root, was kidnapped after his fuel convoy was attacked April 9, 2004. He was one of seven KBR employees reported missing after the ambush. Hamill escaped his captors and was recovered May 2, 2004, about 100 miles north of where he was captured. He reunited with his wife, Kellie, and returned home to Macon, Mississippi. The bodies of five other KBR captives later were found. |
