Marisleysis Gonzalez

Marisleysis Gonzalez, Elian's second cousin, is the daughter of Lazaro Gonzalez, and has been working to keep the boy in the United States. At one point, she made a public appeal to First Lady Hillary Clinton to get involved in the case. She has called herself a "surrogate mother" to Elian.
