Manolo Gonzalez

Elian's paternal great-uncle, Manolo Gonzalez, who lives about eight blocks from his brother Lazaro, supports the child's return to Cuba. Elian's father tried unsuccessfully to have his son placed in Manolo's custody while the child was in the United States. Manolo is also known as Manuel.
