Raquel Rodriquez

Raquel Rodriquez is Elian's maternal grandmother. She and his paternal grandmother, Mariela Quintana, visited Elian in the United States in December and lobbied U.S. government officials and politicians in support of the boy's return to Cuba. Both women were greeted by cheering crowds as they stepped off a private plane on their return to Havana.
