In the wake of the September 11 tragedies, the discovery of letters containing anthrax in several states has raised the specter of bioterrorism. The FBI has not found a direct connection between the incidents. But Health and Human Services Secretary Tommy Thompson said the anthrax cases are signs of bioterrorism.
