Rachel Crane is a CNN Digital correspondent who covers innovation and pop culture. She has interviewed everyone from Elon Musk to famed futurist and Google’s director of engineering Ray Kurzweil. She studied astrophysics and rocket science at Princeton University before graduating with a bachelor’s degree in religious studies. She also received a master’s degree in news and documentary film from New York University.
