This election unit, titled "Your Choice. Your Voice," provides educators with a tool to help students learn about and analyze the election process.

The unit has six lessons; each can be used individually. They include: The Voter, The Issues, The Debates, The Media, The Polls and The Election Process.

Each lesson includes a backgrounder, written by an expert in the field of government and civics, that furnishes students with a context for exploring the week's topic.

Video clips from CNN NEWSROOM supplement the lessons that encourage students to use online resources.
