House Democrats -- now in control of both houses of the U.S. Congress for the first time in 12 years -- started the clock ticking Tuesday afternoon on their self-imposed 100-hour deadline to pass priority legislation, beginning with a national security bill. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has promised to push her party's priorities with "an aggressive legislative agenda."
