Too much time in line at the DMT?
Cat and bunnyBJ Kumagai of Denver, Colorado, went to a Harry Potter festival in Monroe, Michigan, and was impressed by the things she saw there. This, for example, is a gymnastics gym turned into an "apparator's license" office. We suppose they won't let you just apparate to the beginning of the line, especially if you don't have your license yet. Maybe that's why this guy looks so unhappy.

But this very timely and very funny photo got us wondering: Have you got any offbeat photos, funny news or other creative ideas hidden in the recesses of your noggin? Let us know, because we need all the help we can get. Here are some ways you can get involved: Oh, and comment below to let us know what you think.

Caption challenge takes on the loco news
Loco news interviewFast-paced, late-breaking and totally loco news. This is W-A-R-P CNN. The stories you want, when you want them. Once again, we want to know what funny captions you can dream up for a photo that someone around here thought was funny.

But, you ask, why is this person wearing feathers? Why are they talking to the media? Is this some Harry Potter thing? Ha! Like we're going to tell you. Not yet. We're going to insert a cliffhanger right here. You'll have to keep reading to find out, so stay tuned right here for more. Neener-neener-neener.

Caption challenge participants, post a comment below and we'll feature the best caption as a post on Warp CNN, the most trusted name in news satire. And if you don't, we'll dress you like the person shown and put YOU on camera. And then we'll giggle. But what could possibly be going on in this picture? You'll find out soon enough. After this paragraph, we'll be right back.

Guidelines:
* Be funny: Come on, this person is wearing feathers. There's got to be something funny up the sleeve of your Quidditch robe.
* Keep it short: Aim for 20-50 words, short enough to fit in the limited space allowed by the Warp CNN Caption-o-Matic.

And we're back. All right, all right, we'll tell you what's going on--

------> BREAKING AMUSE ALERT: We interrupt this blog entry to inform you that a number of pot-bellied pigs have been seen flying in elite formations above remote parts of the Midwest. Stay with Warp CNN for more. And now back to your regularly scheduled programming. <------

And we're back again. Bridget Benesch of Placerville, California, sent this photo of Hedwig the owl doing an interview during a Grand Hallows Ball midnight-book-release party thingamabob at a Borders Books and Music store on July 21. The Hedwig was one of the people lined up to pick up the final book in the Harry Potter series, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows."

So show us what you've got. Until next time, happy captioning and be good to each other.
