Quack us up please
![]() Post a comment below and we'll feature the best caption as a post on Warp CNN, the most trusted name in news satire. And if you don't ... we'll find a suitable punishment for you. We can assure you that it will involve ducks. Big angry ones. Guidelines: • Be funny: Make like Donald Duck and Daffy Duck and make us laugh. You don't even have to be a duck. You can just be Goofy. • Keep it short: Aim for 20-50 words. That should fit the bill. Get it? "Bill." (By the way, there's an interesting story behind this photo. Darrough is taking care of the property of a man who passed away and who also happened to run a huge boat show in San Francisco with theme boats, including -- you guessed it -- the giant duck decoy. It happens to be one of the world's largest duck decoys, if not the largest. So fast forward a few years. Darrough took it on the lake for April Fool's Day last month to see how people would react. Three mallards showed up, so maybe it does work after all.) Monday, May 07, 2007
Drawing on immigration
Here’s how "Drawing On" works: three I-Report cartoonists offer their take on one politically charged issue. Then you decide which one hits closest to the mark. This week’s topic is immigration. (Check out the earlier rounds here: Gun control, Don Imus, Barry Bonds, "300" , U.S. attorneys, Gas prices, Walter Reed, Academy Awards, Iran and Iraq, Anna Nicole Smith.)
Scroll down to see them all, then let us know which one you like best -- and why -- by posting a comment. Better yet, send your own cartoon response. Got something to say? Sound off by sending a comment, but make sure you leave your name. CNN.com does not post anonymous comments. You can also pick up your pen and draw your own take on this week's topic. |
