You seem to be portraying this as a bad thing. Am I wrong? If so, then here's to you. Otherwise, why is everyone so caught up in party lines? Why is it bad to see good ideas wherever they come from? This is what we need more of, people with ideas, neither Donkeys nor elephants but people.
I never thought I'd agree with Michael from New York, but if he's saying McCain is a good idea, that he's oh so much more appealing as President than either Hillary or Obama, then I agree!!!
No, no, no. I'm not referring to ANY of the politicians specifically. I'm bothered by the thought that a good idea from the other side of the aisle, whichever side you're on, can't be good. How in god's name did we ever become so polarized? what is wrong with everyone? A good idea is a good idea! And don't try saying "the other side doesn't have any cause that's partisan drivel. Our society is doomed if we can't figure out to listen rationally to both sides of an argument.
I have to agree. There are other beverages out there besides coke and pepsi.
And I personally have never met anyone who has completely agreed fully on every aspect of a party's positions. Between red and blue, there's a blend of purple. |
