Iranophobia
Oh, I get it! Ahmadinejad is a SPIDER, and he's complaining about Bush pointing out how dangerous he is! Yuck yuck yuck.
Of course, this cartoon relies on a bit of a straw man argument. Nobody (even us evil leftist pinko commie Democrats) is suggesting that Ahmadinejad is anything other than a dangerous loon. The real question is: enough of a loon to spill American blood?
Hmmmm...the last commentor asked a question that can be read at least two ways...the conservative might ask it this way, " is Ahmadinejad crazy enough to spill American blood"...the answer should be obvious, YES! The liberal would ask is Ahmadinejad's obvious lunacy a threat enough for us to spill American blood to stop him...for the liberal, the answer is also obvious, NO! The difference lies in the asker, most liberals, pampered and fortunate enough to live in the land of the free, even though they scorn those who provide that freedom (read the NY Times), believe that nothing is worth fighting and possibly dying for while the conservative or traditionalist understands that the price of freedom is eternal vigilance, if you'd believe Thomas Jefferson, who by the way, was a liberal in his time...God bless those crazy enough to sacrifice their lives, fortunes and sacred honor to defend our liberties! God bless America!!
Geez, if you're not for war with Iran, you're a rich, snotty liberal who hates those that provide freedom?
Thanks O'Reilly. |
