California screaming

Like everyone else in America I hope those who suffered during the last week are able to recover and my heart truly goes out to them. I also love the fact that even when it seems like the end of the world is on their doorstep, they somehow manage to maintain that California spirit that won't give in to anything -- not even devastating wildfires.

For those in the CA tinderbox - when you rebuild - my I suggest-
Tile roofs, stucco walls, whole house sprinkler systems, concrete, swimming pools.
Make your houses flame resistant so lives arent lost next time.
Good luck.

When you build a house on a brush pile or in a flood zone you are taking a chance. When disaster strikes you think the Gov't should bail you out! It is a gamble and I don't want you gambling with my tax dollars. Use a little common sense when you build that next home.
